Dr Hong Wang, the founder and director of the Department of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) in the General Hospital of Chinese People’s Armed Police Forces, serves as the professor and supervisor of master candidates in the hospital. During her 30 years of work in MRI, Dr. Wang has accumulated a wealth of clinical experiences and published more than 100 articles in the nation's key medical journals. She is the editors-in-chief of the four books, the MRI Diagnosis of Orbital Tumors, CT and MRI Diagnosis of Liver Transplantation, Maps of MRI Diagnosis of Liver Transplantation, MRI Diagnosis Maps of Orbital Diseases, which filled the gaps in the State's medical diagnostic imaging. Because of her great contribution to the field, she earned a good reputation and enjoyed a special subsidy from the military and central government.
At present, she has a chair in the National Board of Medical Imaging, is the vice chairman of CT, MRI professional committee, the executive deputy editor-in-chief of the Chinese Medical Imaging Technology, the deputy editor of the Chinese journals of Modern Clinical Medicine, the deputy editor of the Chinese Traditional and Western Medicine magazine, the senior adviser of Canada Association of Industry, Medicine and Trades. She has been recorded in the Sons of China and Powers’ Monuments.
